I came to Japan in April 1998, and after graduating from a Japanese language school, I graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture as a newspaper scholarship student while working part-time delivering newspapers.  It was very difficult to study while working part-time, but I could learn a lot about society in a way I wouldn't have been able to by only studying at school, and when I graduate from university I will continue growing until I can experience the society I saw.

Many international students from various countries come to Japan and are doing their best, but there are still many people who are struggling because they do not understand Japanese life and culture.

As a senior international student, I want to tell everyone that the hardships in Japan are not in vain. I established the Daniel Project in 2006, and now it's been 16 years.

I have supported many international students so far.
